Dog Park Perfume
Walking around Magnuson dog park, the dogs stop to smell a spot in the middle of the path. Four of them are huddled
around sniffing intently. Only Teddy decides to cover himself in doggie perfume. I scramble to stop him but it's
to late he is already walking away, strutting.
Some behaviorist believe dogs roll in smelly things based on instinct.
Wolves will roll to hide their scent to go unnoticed by their prey. Covering themselves in carcasses or the feces
of herbivores.Others believe that is about pride, a way for dogs to advertise what they found.
all seen our dogs head held high, strutting around with their favorite toy or covered in their favorite scent.
The smell that usually requires a bath! Magnuson Dog Park is full of some of the best and worst smells. The smell of
fresh grass and sweet pollens; to the #1 and #2 from all the local critters, not to mention the smells of all their friends.Walking
dogs in Seattle is truly an adventure, you never know what you will smell!
